Plus personal experience of transition – I’ve been through a major transition journey myself over three years from a more corporate, organisationally based role of 30 years to a self-sustaining creative life. What I have always wanted. I’d love to share some of my learned wisdom from this transition experience with you every step of the way.

About Quiet Writing
Quiet Writing is the summary of my passions and Core Desired Feelings of:
creative, intuitive, flowing, poetic and connected
To explain, I love the words of Monicka Clio Sakki, creator of the Sakki Sakki tarot deck:
“The Artist is still an Artist even behind the closed curtains. Being an Artist is a process, not a state.”
Quiet Writing is about the strength that comes from working quietly in writing and other spheres to create, coalesce, influence and connect. It provides an opportunity to muse and reflect on core values of creativity, intuition, resilience and strength, and the interplay between them. In this, I draw on and connect my various experiences and interests as well as connecting with others who share them.
I gain great heart from reading about the journeys of those who seek and enjoy things like creativity, the gifts of introversion, authenticity and celebrating a reading and writing life, and especially hope to celebrate the lyricism of this in my own journey and in connecting with others on similar journeys.
I’m very influenced by my surroundings and I choose to live by the sea in a quiet place that is my sanctuary and sacred creative space.
I love engaging online through e-courses and e-communities and enjoy learning via podcasts. And I love Instagram and my creative kindred souls in that space. I have a keen interest in family history and historical fiction. I have a great passion for the intuitive arts like astrology, tarot, oracle cards and symbolism and am a huge fan of Carl Jung. As an Introverted Intuitive, I love the depth of these exquisite adventures each day.
Key creative influences
I love to share my learning and influences with you to inspire your own transition and journey. I am especially skilled at finding just the right resource at the right time for the people I work with.
Here are some of the influences, connections and reading, writing and personal development projects that have made a huge difference in my life path:

- Danielle LaPorte’s everything and especially The Desire Map, her energy, passion and constant encouragement in creativity.
- Joanna Penn’s The Creative Penn, a generous and informative website of resources and podcasts and the model of her business and writing life
- Susan Cain’s book, Quiet: the power of introverts in a world that can’t stop talking and The Quiet Revolution which helped me make sense of so much

Your writing is lovely, Terri. I would love to hear more about how your historical novel is developing. I have recently joined Twitter with username meg_e_r so hopefully be in touch over there.
Dear Terri,
I hope you don’t mind me contacting you in this roundabout way, but I’m writing on behalf of the Australian Women Writers Challenge team and would like to thank you for your participation in the AWW challenge this year. I was also wondering if you’ve seen our feedback survey?
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VLQYMQG
It’s very quick (10 questions, mostly check boxes, takes 2 minutes) and it will provide useful feedback to Bookseller & Publisher.
Even if you didn’t reach your goal this year, your feedback is valued, and I hope you’ll join us again for AWW Challenge 2013.
Kind regards,
Jessica.
Hi Jessica – thanks for your message. I have already completed the survey and look forward to the AWW Challenge 2013. Terri
