As a creativity, personality and self-leadership coach, I support women who choose to journey deeper into their wholehearted story.
I have worked with many women helping them connect with their passions for a fuller life, often reconnecting more deeply with creativity and living unapologetically. This might mean finding new ways to source income, living creatively in every sense or committing to study or other life dreams that have been put aside for others.
It might also mean looking again at work you are doing that doesn’t serve your whole heart. Or seeing a way of doing more of what you really love and want in your life. Even with small steps. Transition and managing yourself in change takes a big vision and a plan you work on over time, step by step. It can feel slow at times but you can do it, especially with a little help from a guide supporting you along the way and especially someone who has been there.
Here is a selection of praise – testimonials from clients I have worked with. You can see the glowing words and outcomes that are possible from quietly working with me.
JEANETTE BUCHANAN – Life Coach – Life Coach for Me
When I first connected with Terri, I was really struggling with time issues and having balance and flow in my life. I also was setting a goal to do a triathlon. Having never worked with a coach before I had absolutely no expectations and I just knew that anything that involved moving forward must be good.
I was excited about our first session together as well as being nervous but quite early into that session, I felt very comfortable with Terri. She just has a way that makes you feel settled. After my first session, I felt inspired to be in action. I’m a person that likes to have a clear vision and I was really excited to get started.
I have grown a lot in following my gut, my intuition. I know that self-love is vital to my wellbeing and that taking time out is essential to my health. I’ve really learned to listen to that little voice that says to slow down. I’ve also learned that I don’t have to keep pushing myself and proving to myself that I am enough. I know that I am enough just the way I am.
With tools that I’ve learned along the way, one of the most valuable for me is living in the moment. I wish that everyone could had a chance to have a coaching experience as it just opens up a whole other world. Terri is such a great support, she guides you gently and is really an inspiration. My coaching experience with Terri was enriching, satisfying & resulted in deep inner learning.
Terri is an incredible coach and anyone that gets to work with her is incredibly lucky.
CLAIRE HARNETT MANN – On Instagram
When I started working with Terri, I was an Adult Ed teacher who had been qualified for a year and wondering how I could use what I had learnt in retraining as a teacher to take my writing more seriously too. Overall, I was frustrated at not having a bigger strategic plan to join up the dots of my writing, teaching and spiritual practices. I needed a fresh pair of eyes to look at my situation.
With Terri’s background in teaching and the development of her writing life, matched with her interest in the introverted personality, tarot, and impeccable reading taste, I knew that if there was ever a coach I was suited to work with, it was her. I was so excited by all the possibilities and determined to be honest about what I really wanted in order to get the best results.
After the first session, I realised that goal setting could be an exciting, juicy process which suited my quirkiness. I had witnessed Terri’s deep listening, her confident way of holding that sacred space and the gentle bubbling of her intuitive replies. It was clear that she was the right coach for a gentle soul like me to work with.
As a result of our coaching series, I now see myself as somebody who knows what she wants and can achieve the goals she sets. In fact, Terri helped me to see that I’ve known all my adult life what I’ve wanted, I just haven’t given myself permission to prioritise it. I have let go of other writing commitments with the clarity that concentrating on writing my novel is the gateway into my writing life.
I am now applying for university level jobs, offering my writing for publication again and enrolled in a Masters course for Creative Writing. What these strands have in common is that I feel confident enough to aim high and I don’t have to feel apologetic for being who I am and what I want.
Terri is a wonderful listener and a gentle, intuitive soul who has helped me to realise that the alchemy of my writing, teaching and spiritual life is not only possible but necessary.
NICOLE THOMAS – Nicole Ford Thomas
I was working to overcome fear and anxiety by bravely moving towards the very things fear was keeping me away from. I was also in the pre-writing stages of writing a novel and struggling with “impostor syndrome.”
I found Terri on Instagram and, before my brain could tell me otherwise, fired off an email to make a connection. The key was to stay one step ahead of my anxiety.
Going into our first session together, I felt excited! I knew immediately that Terri would be the right fit for me. As a fellow INTJ, her direct way of communicating was a relief. I knew this would be real, meaningful work, not three months of woo.
Schedules and structure are important to me, as an INTJ, so having the freedom to “go with the flow” and listen to my intuition for guidance has helped move my writing process along without hesitation or doubt in myself.
Terri is very thorough and I left the sessions knowing we had covered every possible angle to ensure we had found the proper fit for my situation.
My coaching experience with Terri was very beneficial, loving and supportive. I call Terri my ‘Terri Godmother’ – and I will forever be thankful for her guidance and support.

When Terri and I first met around coaching, I felt very clear about my goals and very committed to doing the work. I wanted to go deep with my personal creative practice and to clarify my professional identity, so I could feel authentic and grounded in developing and sharing my professional practice with others.
After our initial meeting, I realized that it would be a good idea to use coaching to start working on something I would describe as a “lost cause”. I was struggling with this goal for the past few years and I actually started believing that I won’t be able to achieve much. So, I added a third goal – exercising. I knew if I could do even the smallest progress on this goal – it would be something really big for me. Adding this third goal felt like a big shift, raising the bar for myself and for Terri.
All three goals completely exceeded my expectations and all brought surprising resolutions. I am definitively in a totally different place than I was three months ago and I love where I am right now. My personal creative practice took off in a direction I always wanted it to go but for some reason hesitated. I discovered an amazing personal process that allowed me to dive really deep, and that felt nourishing and enjoyable. After weeks of defeat and trying various things, I finally found an exercise class that my body loved. It was challenging but it felt really good. That was a huge change, seeing myself going to the class every week and being excited about it. As for my professional practice, after taking time to explore my vision I decided to enrol in a coaching program that felt in a perfect alignment with my heart.
Working with Terri was a truly enriching experience. The sessions were exciting, inspiring and fun and they went by so fast! I appreciated Terri’s insights, sense of humour, and the resources and suggestions she provided. We had a great chemistry, there was a lot of laughter during each session and some tears at the end of the coaching. If you are ready to do the work, you can trust Terri will do hers.
CLAIRE SAUER – There is a room
When I started working with Terri, I was struggling to find a sense of purpose, something worthwhile, of value, I could do – even with my limited physical abilities and energy levels.
I was a little nervous at first, mainly as I wondered if I’d be able to verbalize what I needed and hoped for. I’m happier writing than speaking.
By the end of the first session, Terri and I seemed to understand each other. We used similar language, and I sensed we were already walking the road together.
As we shared in sessions, once I started moving in the direction I wanted to go, things started to fall into place. My goals were mainly around my role in the local church and local community. I’m now on course to be relicensed as a Reader (lay minister), and I’m on the parish leadership duty roster for the rest of the year. There’s so much encouragement and support from the village and the clergy, and the diary for next year is already being filled in.
The coaching experience with Terri was wonderful – insightful and helpful. It was always such a good check-in, and a gentle accountability. Terri has found her calling and helped me to find my own.
COLLEEN REAGON – A passionate life
Before I started working with Terri, I was striving to bring all the parts of my story together to create a foundation for a new way of working. I was on the path to becoming wholehearted but I needed help to find the essence of my vision. Coaching was offered serendipitously at that time and I felt intuitively that this gift would help me establish the foundation for my new story.
I had never worked with a coach before but I hoped the sessions would help me focus, and engender the discipline I needed to accomplish my goals. After our first session, I knew that Terri and I could work well together. I felt that with her help I would be able to formulate the vision for the new way of working that I desired.
As a result of my coaching sessions with Terri, I achieved my goals — a foundation for a new way of working and a strong vision to work toward. I feel confident that I will be able to accomplish the tasks required to bring it to fruition. Focus and discipline have returned and I am showing up more, not just on the page but in other creative ways. I’m becoming more wholehearted! My coaching experience with Terri was supportive, energising and productive. And I accomplished so much more than I thought I would!
My heartfelt thanks to you, Terri for this experience and for being a bright guiding light and a fabulous cheerleader.
REBEKAH IRELAND – Spacious and wild
When I started coaching with Terri, I’d just read Essentialism by Greg McKeown and it resonated with me so astonishingly and as a longing, almost. I wanted help focusing on what was important to me.
I was curious about coaching, aware of the Beautiful You Coaching Academy for a few years and of life coaches like Marie Forleo and Tara Mohr. I loved Terri’s tarot work and emphasis on reading and writing and quiet, and the opportunity to work with her was too good to pass up!
I’d never worked with a coach before and going into our first session I felt very excited and curious. By the end of the first session, I knew I was in good hands. There was a very natural resonance between us and I was excited to have some tasks to move forward with, particularly about things that really interested me, not just conventional life stuff.
As a result of coaching, I’m clearer about my boundaries and less timid about asserting them. I’m less apologetic because I have a more secure sense of the validity of my strengths. I value myself more and that is manifesting, for example, in joining a gym, seeing a personal trainer and naturopath and chiropractor.
My coaching experience with Terri was interesting, soul-oriented and nurturing. I have more faith in my ability to succeed. I think my strong, independent side has been allowed to breathe and see the light of day whereas before I kept her hidden. I feel like through the work we’ve done, who I really am is shining through.
So if any or all of these stories of rejuvenation, clarity, creativity and change inspire you, I would love to work with you to help you journey deeper into your wholehearted story. You can find out options for working with me here, or you can email me at terri@quietwriting.com.
